It is possible to take Math 33B before Math 33A. Is that recommended if there's a better teacher for 33B?

Math 33A is Linear Algebra and 33B is Differential Equations, and I don't see a strong connection.

someone posted a similar question a while back. I took both at the same time and yes, I'd say you should take Math 33A before Math 33B unless you have a strong grasp of matrices,eigenvalues/eigenvectors,etc. The latter half of Math 33B will use a lot of concepts from Math 33A.

How would you say 33A and 32B at the same time? And who did you have for the 33 classes?

I had Salazar for 33A and Miech for 33B. For me, 32B was the toughest for me out of the 32 and 33 series and it was conceptually difficult. If you're up for the challenge, go ahead and take Math 33A and 32B at the same time. I'm taking MAE 182A this quarter so I'll see how that goes. If you decide to take two math classes together, perhaps its better to go with 33A and 33B.

Awesome thanks. I think I'll just stick with one at a time. Someone just told me 33A was the second easiest class in the 30 series (easiest being 31A).
