math 33B before33A

would this be a bad move? i dont wanna take 33A next quarter because according to bruinwalk, both professors teaching it aren't that great. (gamelin and miller) would i be at a severe disadvantage if i took 33B before 33A?

not a problem at all. the material isnt related. i think 33a is linear algebra and 33b is differentials (or the other way around).

i disagree.........you do need to know some very important concepts from linear algebra for latter half of math 33b (i took it this summer with Miech) like eigenvalue/eigenvectors, eigenspace/nullspace. If you go over this before taking math 33b you would be fine but otherwise i don't know.

I agree with automath. Matrices show up a lot in Math 33B for some reason.
