Math B help

I failed it. I don't know what to do. Whether to go to summer school to pass the course and take the regents and if i pass the regents get my advanced regents dipolma again or just skip summer school take the non regents math class and get a regular regents dipolma. Do colleges really really look at the type of dipolma. Is that advanced dipolma really worth it? I got a 50 on the test and 63 for the year. Math is my worst subject and 40% of the kids he took it at my school failed. What should I do

I don't know what to do. I have to make a decesion by monday

you should at least attempt it once again, instead of running away from your problems. You have to pass the class and pass the regents. I advise you to take summer school and pass the regents.

I still don't know is it worth to take it all over again than failing than I got take non regents math anway and waste my summer

well try not to fail. Work hard, and you will pass.

All you have to do is buy the Barrons Math B book and kill your summer with that. You should read the entire book from cover to cover and do all the practice tests. The book has answer explanations so check your answers even the ones you got right. This is bound to make you pass the test.

You might have not failed now :).. In Newsday today there is an article how there is going to be a TOTAL new curve for the MATH B regents because many mothers complained about the amount of failures and there was more than usual amounts of people failing at schools, yay for complainers!!!! Your test will be rescored completley

lol i remember that this was the case a couple of years ago.

YESS anyone have the old conversion sheet so I can see how many raw score points I got. I got a 49 but on the new chart you can't get a 49/100 so hopefully I'll pass. Everyone talking about how it's going to be a 20 point curve which means 69 and no summer school

Bump plase if i pass i pass for the year

Anyone answer my questoin

Haha, it doesn't look like a 10 point curve... they already revised the chart & this is it:

Do you have the old chart. Can you find out the raw score of 49/100 would be. Yah I suck at math

It's most likely not passing. It's probably now in the 50-60 range.

damn. Wish I coulda of passed. IS the Advanced regents dipolma even looked at the more than the regular one

Actually, emmared, passing on a Regents exam is 55.

Yes, if you want a local diploma, it's a 55, but if you want an Advanced or Regents diploma, you need a 65.
