Math I & II on same day?

DD is planning on taking Math SAT next weekend. Current plans are to take the Math II but to date we cannot get the scores up to where she would like on the practice tests (wants solid 700s). This is someone who is an A - A+ students in her schools math class, is taking AP CALC AB and Honors Stats (NO AP available) so it is not like she cannot do math.

Anyhow, we have bounced around the idea of switching her to the Math I (risky for it's own reasons). We have also contemplated adding the Math I on that day and taking both and hoping for one score that she likes. If she were to do that, are there suggestions on which order you would take the two tests? Math I then II or the reverse. Will Math I warm you up to take the Math II and therefore do better or could you be "Mathed out" for the second test?

Interested in any input that might help us sort this out.
Thanks

I think she should just do Math II.
All Math I topics are covered in Math II.

What is she getting in practice tests?
If she gets around 650 from Barrons and 700 from PR, she will get 700+ on the real thing.

Also, if she is applying to ivys, Math II will look better :]

Here is where we are at.

As for practice work, she did the whole PR book and I don't recall the practice test scores but I recall that she was not happy (therefore 600s?). The I bought the barrons book. She has been working her way through the diagnostic test and practice tests but using them was a workbook and not as timed tests. She has done several practice tests from the Spartnotes 5 practice tests book and again I don't have the exact scores - but not happy. I think that the one yesterday was 640. She just finished (10 minutes ago) the first test in the Collegeboard Math 1 & 2 book. She scored a 740. Is that accurate for the actual test? 740 is not the dream 800 but I would "settle" for it. If she has time later today, she may try the first MAth 1 in that book just for kicks to see how it turns out.

im taking math 1 and 2.

also, math 1 doesnt necessarily look worse than 2 always.

rice, mit, and other don't care which one you take.

im going to do math 1, then math 2, then literature.

If someone takes Physics, math I and II , literature and a language, would that look bad ?

No, that would make you look like a well rounded person

I never got above a 720 on any of my practice tests. I turned out great. Just relax :]

Thanks for the input. Later last night she opted to take the first Math I test out of that collegeboard book. She stopped at 50 minutes and scored a 770 with what she had done. I think that she is felling more hopeful about the test which had not been the case on Saturday. To be putting in all the time she is putting in w/o a payoff was frustrating her. It is still not clear what she will do on Saturday. We'll let you know.

anhtimmy - good to know the practice test scores may be lower than the real thing

Anyone take the CB Math tests and the real thing and note a correlation?
