I used Princeton review to prepare for the test and did all the practice tests from princeton and kaplan. Ended up with a bad score. I'm pretty good at maths and generally don't find it difficult. However I found the Oct 09 Math II test to be unexpectedly hard, despite having gotten more than 760 on most of the practice tests. Any suggestions on how to ensure a decent score next time around? Was avoiding barrons a mistake?

i also got a really bad score despite getting 750+ on practice tests from princeton review and mcgraw hill. i am considering asking for them to hand score it but otherwise i am definitely retaking it in december. i’m really confused because i’ve got 800 on the math section of the SAT reasoning and i’ve always made top grades in calculus.

I got a horrible score too, despite having gotten 760+ on practice tests, and being usually strong in math.

what scores did you get that are horrible? please post

i got a 660. i don’t understand because i thought the test was fairly easy and i only skipped 2.

730 72nd percentile makes it even worse.

I found the test to be challenging, but not to the extent that my score would suggest. i skipped a few, but the rest i was generally sure about. the practice tests really let me down. which books are you guys planning to use this time around?

Same. got 700s on all practice tests, but ended up getting mid 600s.
Goddamnit Collegeboard is such a scam.

710 took test cold

meh
