Is the Math II SAT significantly harder than the Math I SAT? I know there are some topics that are harder in the Math II that are not present in the Math I, but is it a lot harder?

Thanks

No. In my opinion, the Math II is really easy for the level of math it offers. There usually only 2-3 hard questions that you really need to think about but 95% of the test is easy.

Thanks for the input! Is the test mainly pre-calculus stuff? Like if I go through the entire Barrons book and go through all my pre-calculus notes, should I be alright?

Yeah, it’s primarily precalc except for a few plane/coordinate geometry questions. But not too many.

And dont bother learning parametric equations and polar coordinates, they don’t show up on the test. But they’re easy to learn if you have the time/interest

Alright, thanks a lot! Also, for the practice test raw score, it says that 43/50 is also considered 800. But this is only if I omit the 7 questions right? Because if I get them wrong, then I lose a 1/4th of a point. So, hypothetically, if there were 7 questions that I wasn’t sure of, should I just not answer them?

Same as the SAT – if you can eliminate 1 or two options, it’s probably better to guess.

cortana431, parametric equations and polar coordinates DO show up in the test, but they are rare. Conics and vectors show up in the test too, but also uncommon.
