<p>I am a sophomore and I am in pre-calc this year. I just tried out a practice test on Math II and got 40 out of 50. Do you think it would be possible for me to take the actual Math II subject test coming may?</p>

<p>I think around a 43/50 still counts as an 800. You'll do fine.</p>

<p>all SAT tests take off for incorrect answers in the multiple choice section, but yes a 43/50 is generally the cutoff for an 800. If you are still enrolled in pre-calc, you could be looking at a perfect score because you haven't covered some of the material yet.</p>
