is math II sat needed for Wharton?

anybody????

Penn admission requires at least two SAT subject tests. Wharton applicants in particular are "encouraged" to take a Mathematics Subject Test. I would recommend the "Level 2" as opposed to "Level 1" Math test. You want to demonstrate mastery of basic mathematics, and taking the more challenging SATII would do exactly that. Plus, it has a more forgiving curve. So go ahead and prepare to take the Math-2 Subject Test.

err lol okay, im a bit scared of the Math 2 .. i mean, i m going to be taking my first SAT 2 this june (sophomore still, rising junior) .. in chemistry, so i guess my other one will by in Math 2.

same, i'm only in algrebra II/trig honors and i'm taking the IC, nd i'm freakin out cuz i got like a 550 on the practice test

i should b the one who's scared. lol. jk

lol i SUCK at algebra. I am barely keeping a B+

level 2 has to have a ridiculous curve though. i got an 800 on math 2 and i left 4 or so blank. i got a 730 on math 1 after answering every single question, and i thought i knew how to do each one.

If you take the ACT, then you don't even have to send any Subject tests !

lol i am sticking with the SAT, but damn, i gotta take Math 2? Whats on it? Alg2, precalc, calc? I am going to be doing IB math after i finish Alg2 this year.

math 2 goes no higher than algebra 2.

^math analysis?

no there's still trig in math2

isn't there some precalc in math 2 tho...???

my bad, there is some trig too.

Uh... Math II is essentially all Pre-Cal/Trig

what do you mean by pre calc? in my school pre calc curriculum was like one big review all the math we'd learned before + conics for those who hadn't learned that yet.
