Does the SAT Math Level II require a knowledge of calculus. I was thinking of taking it, but have only had pre-calculus.

Thanks.

Math II only goes through Precalculus.

Math IIC is … omg i have nothing to say because its easier than precalc, even…
It is BASIC precalc. No polar coordinates, no crazy things such as directrix hyperbolae ellipses etc etc…

Thank you both for your responses. I think I will take Math II now.

Def. agreed with the others. AND ONE BIG THING! YOU CAN GET 5-6 WRONG AND STILL HAVE AN 800!!! Dont shoot for 700+! go for that 800!

Thanks again to everyone who responded

@benhpark There are polar coordinates, ellipses, hyperbolas on it… There’s even summation (which is relatively easy, but still a predominantly calculus taught topic). Still, you should take it.

^But you can those questions wrong and still get a 800 because those will show up at most once or twice on a test.

^God bless the curve

What percentage of the test is devoted to trig? Could you take it after Algebra 2 with a couple months self-study?
