<p>is it necessary to have the kind of scientific calculator where you have all the programs etc. or a graphing one?</p>

<p>because I only have the most basic scientific calculator (that's all we're allowed to use here) and would that be a disadvantage to me?</p>

<p>you would be disadvantaged compared to the rest of the students that take the test. Most have graphing calculators with many capabilities...</p>
