Math Level 2 Dilemma

Hey guys, I need some urgent advice! Here's what's going on. Tomorrow is the deadline to sign up for the Dec. 1 SAT Math Level 2. I have not taken it yet(I haven't taken any subject tests). I'm applying as a Comp Sci major to UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD, and UCI.

Here are my grades/scores so far:
SAT - 1890
UW GPA: 4.0
Weighted: 4.8
ECs: Piano - 10 years, Martial Arts - 6 years, Engineering Club VP - 1 year + 2 years regular member - total: 3 years in engineering, Environment Awareness Club - 1 year, Key Club - 2 years, over 100 hours of volunteer work, some paid work experience.

I will obviously have to send in my application before I take the SAT Math Level 2 (if i decide to take it), but I will have to mention in my application that I will be taking it on Dec. 1... Should I take the test? If I do poorly on the test will that have a negative impact on my application? If I take the test and do well vs. not taking the test, will it make a really big difference on my application? Please respond as soon as possible - thank you so much in advance!

Anyone…?

It might be a good idea to take math II…SAT’s and subject tests seem to play a larger role at large state universities than they do at smaller, sometimes more prestigious, schools. But only take it if you’re good at math and can excel. Otherwise it doesn’t make much difference…

Alright, thanks for the reply.

have you completed precalc? If so, and you did well, definitely take M2. But if you only started precalc this year, M2 will be difficult to score well on.

Personally, with that strong gpa, I’d retake SAT I, if aiming for top UCs.

Thanks for all the advice guys.
