Did any of you take it? If so, how was it?

it was all algebra and trig, no calc, it wasn't that hard if you've taken calc in high school.

Could you post some examples? Would you say its easier than SAT I?

Is it possible to retake the exam?

if you've taken math up through pre-calc you'll be fine. much of it is rewriting equations and finding slopes of lines and there was one dealing with volume or surface area, can't remember which. also, you can only take it once per semester, but you only need 75/100 to place into Calc I, so its not that bad. not something to worry about for sure.

Sounds good! Thanks

A word of caution - don't try to push yourself to score high on the Math Placement. Just take it without preparation, so that the score will be a true reflection of your knowledge. Otherwise, you will be placed in a Math level that is going to be hard for you and you will get a low grade that will bring down your GPA.
