a passing score on AB gives you 4 units of general calculus credit. a passing score on BC gives you 8 units of general calculus credit. a 5 on BC gets you out of 31A (so you would be able to skip to 31B). if OP doesn't get a 5, he needs to take the test for placement.

really? I am in HSSEAS actually lol I remember they told us 5 on BC gets out of 31A and B while 4 on BC is like 5 on AB which gets you out of 31A only, I got a 3 on BC so I had to take math placement test lol I really thought I was right cause I have a lot of friends who started with 32A... and my roommate started with 33A lol

if they go by what was said on that site then you might have to take it if you get a 4 on BC and 5 on AB... bring a calculator just in case and the engineering orientation counselor will tell you whether you need to take it or not, also kids that go to 101 should be able to confirm this soon

I took Calc AB as a junior and got a 5, but also took BC as a senior and am very confident for a 5 on that as well. Do is still have to take the test if I don't get the results in time?
