What do we use for our name and password?

bump for answer
it says to use the first part of your fordham email adress
/? i dont have a fordham email address

Your email address should be your last name - unless you have a common last name, then it may be different. Log in to Student Home Page, and go to your email section, it should tell you your Fordham email address.

thanks a lot

Did you take the math placement test? What was on it? I am just concerned that I will be behind if I do not do well on it, yet of course I do not want to be placed in to high a level. Thanks! Hope you did well!

I took it four years ago, so I can’t recall any of it. Sorry, lol

Does everyone have to take the math placement test, or just math/science majors?

@jrzasa: I took it 2 years ago so it might have changed. Mine was about 10-20 multiple-choice questions (I don’t remember exactly, but it wasn’t much) covering mostly algebra and pre-calc. If you’re confident in your math classes, you should be okay. But in any case, the placement test is not entirely binding. If you’ve taken Calc AB/BC but was placed in Calc I/II, talk to the dean and negotiate your classes there. What’s important is that you feel comfortable in your math class.

@Parent46: It is required for math/science majors. But overall HIGHLY ENCOURAGED even for non-majors.

Thanks lamynine!
I ended up taking the exam and did well. I did not want to be behind but also did not want to be placed in a class I was not ready for…

@jrzasa‌ …I’m taking it this year…do you remember the type of questions that was on the math placement exam

D got a letter saying she needed to take Math placement test based on her SAT score, which was a 630. She is in Gabelli. What is the cutoff for being automatically put into Calculus, as she is in Calculus now?
