What are the two levels?

I just found out I have to take the math placement (boo!) - so do I take level 2? I won't be taking pre-calc or calc, I just need topics in math because they aren't accepting my math course from my cc..

I had to take arithmetic and elementary algebra at my CC. Some colleges give college level placement as well.

Was your math course remedial?

It wasn’t remedial, but it was “College Algebra”… my advisor at my cc told me to take it because it was between remedial algebra and precalc/calc. I thought it was very similar to HS trig/some precalc. The math guy at Rutgers was no impressed with the syllabus so I have to the the placement - I just don’t know which one I need to take haha I didn’t know there were two levels.

thats, just go into the 12PM math test. It’s the level 2 test. That’s the only test you need. I’m going on 6/13 for it.

haha okay! I figured since that was the one that was “required” - the 13th could be good for me too, I need to study though…it’s been over a year since I’ve done any math :-/ So we just show up for the test?

So what is level one? Is that a higher level one or something? I thought it would explain it on the page haha
