Math placement test

I’m an incoming biological sciences student at UCD. As I was reading over the orientation schedule, I noticed that I would have to take both the mathematics and the chemistry placement tests. Math especially sucks, because I got a 690 and needed a 700 to waive the placement. :(

Any tips on what I should be studying for it? I took Calculus AB this year, but wouldn’t mind retaking the course (because I didn’t get much out of the course). Should I be brushing up my precalculus, or should I just take the test with the knowledge

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

It’s been a couple years since I took it, but from what I remember, there was a lot of pre-calculus, geometry, trigonometry, that kind of thing. So basically refresh your memory on everything you learned prior to calculus. If you got a 690 on the SAT, you probably won’t find the placement test too difficult.
