I hope to fulfill this dastardly section but without having to take any algebra. I was wondering if taking a stats class online from UCLA Extension would suffice?

I have read how this particular statistics course is transferable to all UCs, though I was wondering if it effects your TAG or when you're applying to a UC? Would be great if someone can reply especially if they have had experience in this regard, thank you very much!

Edit: Nevermind, this is not a transferable online course. They only offer that at the actual campus, which I can't attend since I reside in Sacramento. CCC Algebra it is... ~le sigh~

You can’t be afraid of a little math. If you think that elementary algebra at your community college is bad, wait until you get to UCLA. You will be competing with the creme de la creme, take the intro stats at your community college, it should be super simple. It also depends on what is your major, if its anything south campus (STEM) then you would need to take up to calculus.

Thanks for your input, Dagoberto. I am undecided about my major at the moment but I do not wish to major in something even closely related to Math, just a matter of personal taste. Last I did Math was back in England almost ten years ago (A’Levels GCE Further/Advanced Math) and my situation was different back then, but I am going down the CCC route now. Was worried there for a moment since beginning Fall 2013 Davis requires you to complete your English and Math one year prior to admission but I have it sorted (somewhat). Cheers, mate.
