Math Requirement in IGETC Not Completed...

As you can imagine i'm somewhat freaking out. My transfer level math in the IGETC is the only thing that has not been met and in all honesty I'm not doing too well in that course this Spring.

Is it imperative that I pass the class (because that now seems like a pipedream) or is there any way some of the UC's will allow me to re-take it in the summer in time for Fall? Or even they let me take that transfer level math at their school; or hell, let me take it in the summer and they postpone my admission to Spring 2011? ?

This sucks and am obviously freaking out. I've been accepted to the following:

UCSB
UCR
UCSD
UCI
UCLA

and am waiting for UCB & USC.

From my experience, UCLA will not let you take it in the summer. Especially if its the math requirement that fulfills IGETC. If you don’t have the math requirement for UCLA by Spring 2010 you will get rescinded.
I don’t know about the other Universities because I SIR’d to UCLA.
good luck though, do whatever it takes to pass that class!
:)

Uh… The math required to satisfy IGETC is really low…

This really sucks. Math has always been my worst subject. So far only UCR will allow me to re take Math in the summer and still be admitted for Fall; though i’d prefer being delayed till’ Spring 11* if it meant letting me go to Berkeley or UCLA.

I can’t believe that you haven’t done your IGETC math yet you still got into all those UCs. Makes me want to rage that SD hasn’t even gotten back to me.

rage against the machine Fenris.
