I remember reading this list of admission stats where math science GPA is listed alongside regular GPA, so I guess my question is, do schools look more for your m/s gpa or your regular gpa? (I got a B in a 5 unit language course...)

Also, how do adcoms look at taking classes pass/fail? Like, if I took a bio class p/f, which I am considering because it looks like I might get a B in there, does it look bad, or should I stick with the B?

No, it looks worse than bad. It looks horrible, and will get an app tossed for not fulfilling/reading the requirements. (And as mom2 notes, you can’t take the prereqs p/f.)

Med schools look at BOTH you sGPA (science GPA which includes all biology, chemistry, math and physics classes) and your cGPA (cumulative GPA–which includes ALL the classes you’ve taken in college.) Both your sGPA and cGPA are important and are considered carefully by the admissions committee. Both your cGPA and sGPA should be within a .1 of point or so of each other.

And as everyone has said above–you cannot take pre-reqs P/F. It won’t count as fulfilling the requirement.
