So I run on a block schedule, and last semester I had Alg. 2, Chemistry CP, Psychology/Sociology CP and Advanced Choir. I actually passed Chemistry with a B+, and psychology and choir with A's.

What really irked me was my math grades.

First quarter I pulled out a C+, and second I pulled out a C- Math has never been my strong point

Now I'm not one for excuses, but during the quarterly break, I ended up ill in a hospital. This stay carried over during school, for about 2 weeks. When I returned, I had no problems resuming every class except algebra 2. I had taken the initiative and asked for after school help, but my math teacher flat out said "No, I won't help you after school."

To add insult to injury, he made me take 2 unit tests. I had not learned any concepts from these units well. During my absence, I had tried to catch up, but it was impossible without someone teaching me.

This brought my grade to a D, and he would not aid me in raising it.

Basically, I started out with a bad foundation that ruined the rest of the semester, and now I'm irritated that since I don't know my alg 2 well, my pre-cal course will be way harder. Summer school is not an available option, as I will be out of the country. =/ BAH, rant over. Sorry. Anyone have any advice?
