currently i'm a junior and going to take the sat subject tests on may 07. should i take math2 or math1? what's the difference?
i'm going to major in international relations. so does it matter which math i take? will i look poorly if i take math1c even though i'll be in ap calculus next school year as a senior?

from what i've heard, take math 2c because supposedly the curve is very generous. supposedly.

If you're taking AP Calculus next year, chances are you will have studied everything needed for Level 2. Level 2 includes no calculus but has some higher-level topics in trigonometry, number theory, and probability. If you have better than average comfort with math problems, you should consider taking Level 2. More selective colleges, regardless of your major, will look at you in a better light.
