<p>Is it ok to send acceptance money to multiple choice so I can change my mind later in July? or once I submit the check, am I commited to the particular school?</p>
<p>Also I am waitlisted, and they will notify me by August.. What do I do in this case.?? Can I enroll that school once they admit me even if I am already commited to other school??</p>

<p>Nobody can force you to attend a school if you don’t want to. I think you need to put a deposit down at one of the schools you are accepted to while you wait to hear on your waitlist schools. Otherwise if you don’t get in off the waitlist you will have someplace to attend. Of course the deposits are non refundable. My understanding is that most hear they are accepted off waitlists in the month of May after schools tally the acceptances that were due May 1. Last year my friend’s son sent his deposit to Northeastern electronically on May 1 and heard the next day he was accepted off the waitlist at Fairfield. Eventhough it was only one day he lost the deposit.
Why would you not hear until August? If you decide not to attend a certain school and let them know in August be sure that you will never want to attend the school in the future as you will have burned a bridge. </p>
