I have one question... Will it be ok if I send my confirmation that I would definitly attend Fordham and the check in two weeks??? I mean I heard I have time until May 1st, but I think many are sending it now this moment. The thing is I have to wait until next week until my parents can sign some documents. Will I still have time and will I still have space for the dorm at campus?????
Please if someone could tell me this, I am very worried I would really be upset, Fordham is really the best school ever for me!!!

I think as long as you get it in by May 1 you should be OK.

You're fine as long as it's postmarked 5/1. My son sent his in on 4/29 or 30 last year. One thing he did, though, which I think was smart, was to FedEx his room deposit and room request separately. When it came time to move in to the dorm, it was clear that he and his roommate were one of only a few rooms that didn't have to triple. I can't help but think that was the result of him FedExing the room deposit.

You should try to submit all documents simultaneously, so that it doesn't get lost in the mail (and it does happen). You'll be fine as long as it's postmarked May 1st and earlier. If you were accepted with housing, you are guaranteed a room/dorm, IF you get it in on time.

On the issue of triple or double suites, Residential Life deals with that.

If you know you're coming, you should submit your deposits as soon as possible. There are thousands of students on our waiting list who are anxious to hear about their status. The longer you wait to send in your deposit, the longer they have to wait to hear.

I will send everything on Friday. Will Fordham let me know when they got my confirmation will the send me an email or something? Or is it ok to call and find out if they got documents and check?? I will be worried thinking if they got it or not!
