May,2, 2010 SAT curve?

Anyone take the sunday SAT?
(different from saturday)

What can you expect the curves to be?

WAIT? We get a different curve? So since we took a different test, we aren’t measured with the rest of the may SAT test takers? We get our own curve based on the answers of our test? That sounds goood.

wait, how do you get the SATon a diff. date? is it the same test too?

No. I had extra time, I imagine everyone else who took it only took it today because they had extra time. It was completely different. I thought most of it was straight forward. Some questions just seemed a little complex, but they weren’t. The things I got wrong were the things I just didn’t know. One passage in CR kind of sucked tho, but the others were a drift. I heard some negative things about the string theory passage.

I mean, I’m pretty sure the Saturday test and Sunday tests are different…Otherwise, everyone would cheat, right?
Did any saturday testers have CR passage on African American “artists” who moved to France?

Did you have the question that was like what does “The Expatriate” mean? I put that the journalists’s story was about the international influence of African american culture. It wasn’t as straight forward as african american residing in a foreign country, and culture makes sense because they were celebrities.

Yes, that question was on it.
Anyone able to determine curve?

Bump
Someone please answer if there is a different curve for each of the SAT test types of each month. Aka Saturday test has its own curve based on performances on that test, and Saturday + Sunday has its own curve based on the performances on that.

I think this will be the curve…along these lines.

Math
54 800
53 800
52 770
51 750
50 720
49 700
48 680
I think even though it was fairly simple, a lot of people definitely made careless errors. It wasn’t that the problems were hard, but you had to be careful. This is the time where people who feel obligated to take the SAT who aren’t ready take it and blow. So I say we’ll get -2 still 800.

not a chance -2 800 ur dreaming, the tests have the same curve.
also many people take it on sunday bc of religious reasons which prohibit them from taking it on saturday.

Damn. I wish I could do like a makeup before the June sat. That would be soo sick. Im dreaming again though. Its only my math Im worried about. So you say the curve is the same?

The curve for the saturday and sunday tests is NOT the same…I took the sunday SAT back in january and got -2 CR 800, and I know that that wasn’t the case for the saturday test takers.
