yeah actually I rememeber a lot of things...I think one of the vocab questions was soo unfair...how were we supposed to know how to say sole in french?? no effing fair...the question said something like "the sand burned my foot through the sole of my sandal" grr i had to leave it blank...and also the one about waiter (i think) that he put a ____ in their laps (i think) was it assiette?

Yeah, and the one about worm.^
x_x

i left the one about the burning feet blank but i got the worm one. i dont remember the waiter question. any others?

and what did you guys say for what the shoe store did not sell?

I think said the shoe store didn't sell luggage.

hi guys, i need to ask y'all a question. see im a newbie at the SAT thing and am scheduled to take the SAT 2s in june. 1 prob i dont have a clue to how the questions in french come. im worried in a sense that i am not a native french speaker. it is my second language. can anyone tell me?

why don't you get a practice book? That's the best way to understand the test. I certainly had no idea what was on it until I took the Princeton Review book practice test.

I am also not a native french speaker.I got that it does not sell luggage but i think the test did not say valise; it said something else. Do youguys remember any other questions?

the question about what the store did not sell, I did a process of elimination and got the very last option (the one that started with a e [I dont remember the word]) I said that luggages was ok, b/c it said that the store sold accesories and things made of leather...and for me luggages (i think the word was sac (?)) fits that category...but i don't know...

i thought it was sac something like sleeping bag, but i could totally be making that up. i think it was option c because d was scarves and the first two seemed correct. Don't let this chain die! what else do you guys remember?

yeah I agree, the worm one was also unfair...can't wait till we get our scores!!

How ridiculous is it that we have to wait until practically the end of May to know. Do you remember anything else. I left two blank and may have gotten 4 wrong, but that's pretty much based on absolutely nothing. Where does that put me?and the end of the one with the girl who had her house broken into? was she happy? or resigne or something? And was she a writer?

yeah I said she was a writer, and i said resigne or w/e lol

I said those exact same things but i have no idea if we are right. I mean it seemed like she was happy but i felt like that wasnt exactly the word to describe her--someone still did break into her house

i put nostalgic for one of the reading questions.. im not sure if that was for the girl passage or the old man one

That was the old man.

Do you remember the one for the girl? or anything else?

How about the stories?

lol I said nostalgic too, and yeah, it was about the old man. And the reading about someone breaking into the person's house...I read the whole thing as if it was a man, not a woman, not that that has anything to do with any of the questions, but I'll put it out there. : )

oh yeah, one of the answers to the vocab was "ailleurs" (sp) and to another one was "tot" (tot ou tard) ???

and what was the answer to the one that said something like "the best way to have a good life is to aviod ____" or something like that, and the options were something like "malheur", and i don't remember the others..

i think i put ailleurs which means elsewhere? and tot, but im not exactly sure. and i do not remember the question youre talking about, but i feel like we're getting rusty on remembering the questions!
