what the answer for the terristrial adaptations, the kidneys, amnionic egg, and lungs?

Oh u guys are right-it did underline ONE-so yes nucleotide is the ans. Damn that is another wrong. I am quite off
Can anyone let me know the ans for the dialysis bag (not the letter or symbol but the words)?

terristrial adaptations-yes i sad the lungs one (which is what you said i believe)

“In the male, spermatogenesis takes place in the seminiferous tubules of the testes and does not occur until puberty.”

The first three after all the cells crap was uterus testes uterus. DEFINITELY not epididymis for gametogenesis.

fertilization occures in the oviduct not the uterus

Wikipedia says that male gametogenesis begins at puberty - I think what confused you about the female gametogenesis was that it’s cycle “begins” at puberty, but gametogenesis for female begins early in fetal development, and then gets put on hold until puberty.

Did the bean question specify what type of bean? Wikipedia also says that the “common bean” actually does not have lipids but instead protein in starch, so I said protein.

Definitely only two controlled variables

And unfortunately I think it is the amniotic egg one, I though amniotic eggs were just for mammals, but apparently not.

Also, there is NO way to know whether the dialysis bag was isotonic to the outside solution - it doesn’t give any information about that. What it did show was that the smallest of all the molecules, glucose, was the only one that could get through, implying that ability to diffuse from the bag depends on size.

yea ok-i think i am wrong there. but im pretty sure uterus was not an answer twice.

What was the bean question?

The initial stages occur within the testes and progress to the epididymis where the developing gametes mature and are stored until ejaculation.

That’s from wikipedia. So they become sperm in the epididymis.

Also, the question asked what variables they controlled. They chose what each pH was ergo they controlled it.

The uterus is the site of blastula implantation, fertilization occurs in the oviduct.

how’d you guys do?

That’s not what “control” means. To control for a variable means to make sure it’s the same in all the conditions.

for the land adaptations, there were two choices with lungs, and figured amniotic egg made sense so i went with that one really hope its right because i’m getting really scared, so far 5-6 wrong but probably more because the neuron/muscle and island diagrams were so confusing!! ugh and bio has such a horrible curve :’(

O snap, there were 2 with lungs??! Okay im screwed. I really did get a bunch wrong. ■■■. Why does bio have a worse cure then the others?? if anything, it should def be more than the math 2-jeez collegeboard…

I know, I’m just saying that the question didn’t ask what the controlled variables were. It asked what they were controlling, which is why a lot of people said it was a bad question.

Sorry guys for some wrong answers. Here’s the edit.

-water separation: lipids
-insulin (secretory granule)
-graph supported the route the radioactive substances traced
-graph showed how it goes from rer to golgi to vesicles
-right atrium, right ventricle, lungs, left atrium, left ventricle, aorta
-most diversity: island A
-least extinction: island A
-least immigration: island C
-two germ layers: hydra and jellyfish (II and IV)
-scar on tree: .9
-ribose, phosphate, nitrogenous base: nucleotide
-polygenic tree: dietary needs
-earthworm diagram: the three involved in segment I, the three involved in segment II, stimuli from segment III would not cause muscle contraction in segment I
-controls: temp and light (definitely only two variables!)
-lymph: interstitial fluid
-dialysis experiment, it was NOT isotonic, osmosis could have been incomplete at end of 24 hrs so answer was I only (water diffused from outside to inside)
-blastocyst in uterus
-fertilization in oviduct
-gametogenesis in the testes/epididymis
-necessary for sexual rep: two haploid (no centrioles in plants)
-allele: related proteins
-the one with the “what made it necessary to move onto land” answer choice was A.*(this included lungs, although am not sure what the other two were)

Do you guys remember what the other choices for the lymph one and the necessary for sexual reprod. ones were?

What was the answer for…

If a person has AaBbCc how many possible gametes are there?
and
What was the control for the peniciellen question? ( was it choice A?)

And also, do Prokaryotes have plasma membranes? (I thought they do)

for the AaBbCc-i got 8 (2^3)-anyone else? (or am i wrong again jezz)
for penecilin i think i also got A-a spot on the dish for bacteria to grow w/o any antibiotics?
for prokaryotes-they def do have a plasma mem. (it was all organisms for that)
