Are you all feeling prepared? I’ve been making flashcards like crazy. I’m really glad it’s right after APUSH, though.
Check out Adam Norris on Youtube if you haven’t already! Someone just introduced me to it, it’s pretty great.
taking APUSH AP Friday during school, then cramming all night for SAT US History, which is on Saturday
GOOD LUCK!
also check out the APUSH Timeline song on YouTube
@doublebach thanks!
Taking the subject test tomorrow. International here so will take a little earlier.
@bsdsj22 Best of luck! I think it’s kind of funny that international students have to study US history. It’s annoying enough to us Americans already haha.
I took the APUSH exam today and it was fine so I hope this test will be similar. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!
International here if anybody has taken it message me
I need some help: I know guessing is minus a 1/4 point, but is it considered a bad idea to guess if you can’t eliminate any choices? I read something earlier that says you have the a 1 in 5 chance of getting it correct, and a 4 in 5 chance of getting it wrong, which means it would even out to a 0 score gain/loss. Other stuff contradicts it and says only guess if you can eliminate some choices. What do you guys think?
@alextrebek I think you should only guess if you somewhat know the question’s answer and can narrow it down to two choices. If you have no idea and can’t eliminate 3 choices, then leave it blank.
@fairagoura thank you!
I did the same. Some questions you just can’t eliminate 3 choices because the question is so specific and your teacher could have just skimmed over it. Don’t be too upset if you leave 4 or 5 blank… because that is better than guessing and getting an entire raw scale point knocked off.
Did anyone’s score came out yet?
@shyshyshy Yes! Mine came out this morning.
Edit: just noticed the time stamp. My bad. Hope you did as well as you wanted!
Yeah, I got a 670. Can I submit that to college?
@studyhard13 it really depends on what colleges you’re aiming for. For very selective universities (Ivy Leagues), I would say that you would be better off not using it and focusing on another aspect of your application.
