for the butler one i thought it was disloyalty when he turned his back…because that’s the first meaning you obtain from the expression “back turned”. + he sat there for 2 hours not able to write anything, so even if he was eager…i mean…he wasnt writing anything

he was just contempating whatever he did wrong…because he repeated the quote to himself

Idk…wouldnt collegeboard make it a little more tricky…he ran to his desk, but why was it after he turned his back. Could have two meanings? Unless I’m remembering the context of the passage incorrectly…but I don’t think I am

^for that one I put that he was excited or w/e that choice was…anyone remember answers from the mask lady artist passage? i don’t think that passage was even discussed here in this thread

If im shooting for around a 2000 total how many do you guys think I can get wrong per section? I admited maybe 2-3 in CR and in Math…none in Writing and I think my essay was pretty decent.

OH SHIII it finally hits me. WHY EAGERNESS IS CORRECT:
so, i guess i didnt even understand that part, but got the answer right. the Crusoe quote was all about doing something without thinking twice of your qualifications and skills. A few lines before the back-turning line, the butler had mentioned that he was being modest in his words, telling Franklin that he wasn’t good enough to write a full story, even though he was thinking to himself, man i can rape this shiii. as soon as Franklin turned around, he went to work, EAGERLY, to prove to himself that he can do it. then it turned out that he couldnt.

scope and outcome.
passage 2’s author for the stheory passages. He noted that there were 10k’s of scientists working on Stheory yet no real evidence was shown; huge scale, no outcome.

commonplace/startling.
while being rambunctious (i forget the actual verb/gerund here) is commonplace in political protests, it was startling in the geology debate something.

artist mask/lady… from what i remember, there was a question about a mask and a frame and i think i put E. saying that they contradict each other or something…

another question was asking about the relationship between her colors/jewels and her self expression…i put something along the lines of “she added more colors and jewels as she grew old and fragile”

Mask & Frame -> Contradict each other. Correct.
