Instead of “eagerness” couldn’t it be “deviousness”? The butler was the owner of the STOLEN diamond, and he’s doing it as soon as the guy’s back is TURNED.

I am shocked at how well I did on the Vocab. I had minimal prep, but for the next SAT I am definitely memorizing all of Grubbers.

guys, do you think for the “factory” chimp question, division of males/females is a feasible answer because there are only females in the nursery? Or is this absolutely wrong you guys think?

SC there was also “plagiarized”

Can someone at least share an opinion about my view on the factory chimp question?

Yeah I remember plagiarized.

^^I’m pretty sure it’s the chimps working together.

@nononno: the links to the passages dont work for me for some reason…

Missing inveigle.

"^^I’m pretty sure it’s the chimps working together. "

i said this too, but now i’m thinking it’s wrong. people on here pointed out that the author of the passage wouldn’t open by talking about how well the chimps work together when writing about how humans’ ability to communicate makes us superior to chimps.

^ the chips working together was only in the factory question. Not both…

iforget: I put collective work, because the question was about factory not nursery, but now that you are mentioning it, I am not so sure

oh yeah, collective work.

damn I got so many vocabs wrong!!!

what were the other choices in that question?
I know there were regimented lives, separation of roles of males and females, and collective work.

I feel like collective work is more of speculation based on the word “factory” than close reading of the context…

There was something about human-like work habits.

Does anyone remember the question about the comparison between humans and chimps??
It was the part where the chimps were nursing and looking amorously at each other…
and the word refering to what the author hoped humans to ensue. (something like having empathy to each other?)

i think it was mimicking human work habits
