^ that was not the right answer.

oh sorry i didnt mean that was the right answer… i meant that was the correct wording of the choice… sorry for the confusion

^ = D my bad

The Question about the old woman who wore bright clothing/costumes etc,
why was the answer to one of the questions Contradictory? ( the one about frame and mask…)?

sunny: because it said in the text it was a paradox

Y cant the problem for the usage of only = work as unique experience?

wasn’t the author talking about how the unique experience he had because the only day he opened his book related with the book hes going to write, implying that this whole “only” was unique?
I just don’t get brevity as the answer

@luceverita, what were the other choices, do you remember?? =)

Sunny: I do not remember all the choices, but I hesitated with something with her feelings

another vocab was gaudy

one thing ive learned forget your gut feeling and go with the answer that the passage is shouting out at you… the eagerness…and brevity of interval…i overanalyzed these sections way too much.

lol. going a little off topic.
but do you guys remember the answer to the one regarding “supposed”?
i think i put counterintuitive.idk…

do u remember the question??

@kyuwon31, the passage read:
“Only yesterday, I opened my ROBINSON CRUSOE at that place. Only this morning (May twenty-first, Eighteen hundred and fifty), came my lady’s nephew, Mr. Franklin Blake, and held a short conversation with me, as follows:–”

only yesterday, only this morning =
brevity of interval, in that it was only yesterday that he read the quote, and he is already in the very situation that the quote warns the reader to avoid

does anyone know which question, “nominal” refers to?
also, why is corrupt the correct answer?

Can anyone remind me of the question and the answer choices with “prudent”?

Also, what were the answer choices for the question which talks about him starting to write once the boss turns his back or something?

nominal was about the result of the experiment. this was the right answer, not corrupt

what was the question about “supposed” ? I remember the question but not its context

@member123
im pretty sure it was in the chimp section where it was talking about the “supposed” gains in technology…
matt talks about it earlier in post like 767ish?
anybody remember this question?

Jebar: the answer was eagerness

I got “sincere form of expression” for an answer. Did anyone else get that???

@JebarPolsky
the question for “prudent” was in the daughter-mother short passage
asking mother’s attitude. (not immediately telling her daugher the plan)
