Oh and there was a question in that dresses passage that I sort of remember. It was the very 1st question. I think it was asking what the primary purpose of the 1st line was?? It had to do with her carefully choosing to wear some dress.

gt: do you remember the other choices for this question ? (about the collective work)

@gthopeful

i remember that question! it was talking about her bohemian dresses or something. i think i put down something along the lines of disprove another potential/possible claim?

hey everyone, i’ve been reading here for a while but i just had to join the conversation.

so did everyone here get the string theory passage?

What was the ostensibly question??

passage 2 would say that the mathematicians and physicians should pursue different avenues

Can anyone tell me the question or other answers for this other?

@wootsat

thats what I put

I just dont see why you guys think the answer was collective work. I know the Lawyer wanted it to be collective, but did the Uncle? If so, then why did the Uncle put so much pressure on the narrator?

@apolohno
Yes, string theory passage was not experimental.

To add to the list, if anyone remembers it better than I:
There was one from the diamond and butler story where the question referenced lines that said each person would contribute only to the extent of their own knowledge and the answer (that I got) was something like, he didn’t want anyone to make guesses about what had happened.

^^ I got that

for moonstone…there was something about telling the story… “no further”…is the answer: lawyer doesnt want story to be based on hearsay…?

Ahh, yes, that’s what I was thinking of. Hearsay. Thank you.

ok…cool…regina…then maybe we ryt? …i didnt see ur post wen i was posting…

Are we sure that the “only” being repeated means the brevity of interval? I think uniqueness of experience fits better.

Someone explain to me the reasoning behind choosing collective work as an answer. I’m not saying its wrong, but no one has told me why it is right.

I also second the uniqueness of an experience, although i’m probably wrong :(

gt hopeful- i agree that it was he asked the narrator to do it
