May SAT CR Thread

on the enthusiastic devotion I don’t really think its the right answer. The word FERVOR showed enthusiastic devotion but adding the Nun in general showed a bit of reserve. I think it was B, forgot the choice though. It was like sumthing about being reserved.

could someone remind of the context of the passage with the laywer with the answer momentary perplexity
what was the question?

@abs.zero.
thanks. i put understatement but i guessed… o well

Nun sort of hints to “devotion”.

So I’m new to the SAT and I’m pretty sure I had 3 CR sections
Is there any way to tell which one was experimental?

if you had 3 then you had no experimental. that means your experimental was in your math (if you had 4 math) or writing (if you had 3 writing)

for “want” i put desire
i felt if you desire something you want it but dont have it (obvious i guess) and i felt that made more sense than lack

Maybe a dumb question but, can anyone explain why as soon he turned his back…eagerness

just wondeirng, if there a writing thread for may?

@ Slurpee Because as soon as the lawyer turned his back, the man rushed to the table to begin writing.

how would you guys rate the CR section
easy med hard

@ Slurpee ; As soon as he turned around to go, the butler went over to his desk and sat down?

Writing Section Discussion. Have Fun.

Alright, missed the part about rushing to the table and sitting down…-_-

My vote goes to enthusiastic devotion. The choice to layer on flamboyant clothing isn’t very reserved.

Bass - Sorry, but I’m pretty sure it was lack ): A “want of” is different from a “want for.” “Want of” means a lack of - it’s kinda one of those phrases you have to know.

bassmastah5 I thought CR was hard, but then again I hate CR and my strongest is math, which I thought was really easy

i also thought CR was difficult.

yep me too CR was hard…

i didnt think cr was too bad.
just the string theory compare passage was a little boring.
and the chimps passage with the 2 questions on chimps was a litttle weird.
