The official book had -5=760/770? That’s way too harsh!

No I didn’t have an airplane question. I remember one of the last questions I bubbled in was while I was going through the ones I skipped, the one about an elevator moving up a building and throwing something off, but that was in the 40’s or 50’s.

@garfieldliker
No we were talking about past the initial 59 = 800. Each raw point is worth about 10 points after that I think.

I remember the elevator question too!
Not sure what the guy was talking about when he said the airplane question then . . .
The answer was that it would fall in a parabolic trajectory right?

Yeah, I bubbled in the upward parabolic and changed it right at the end. That’s the last question I remember before trying to figure out the plane mirror.

Do you remember exactly what the plane mirror question consisted of?

It was just a question (with no diagram). It asked about the reflection of convex wave fronts after they hit a plane mirror.

I REMEMBER THAT!
Was the answer that they’re concave? Because they invert, right?

That’s what I put. Sigh, this is so disappointing.

Any chance that there are two versions and we both got different ones?

What do you need for a 600 or a 700 for the current physics subject tests? (raw score)

Abrayo, I don’t think they vary the questions. It’s probably just the same questions, but in a different order (maybe).

45 raw is 700.
30 raw is 600.

I think that’s incredibly lenient though . . . -30 and you can still get 700? That’s like 24 wrong and you can still get 700!

I got 4 for a question near the end, I don’t remember if it was 74. It might have been. Does anyone remember the wording for 74? I remember the mass for the question I got 4 on was 2.5 uhh

Do you remember what the question asked?
The main idea, not the wording (since that’s what you’re asking for).
Was it a two-part question, with 2.5 as the first question and 4 for the second or something? Or was 2.5 given in the question?

Anyone want to make a compiled list?

well yeah I meant idea haha. I do not remember if it was two part. Actually was there an 8 somewhere around there?

What was 74 asking?

what did you guys say for 6 and 7, i think:

1) what increases when you add weight to the bottom of the string that twists with a mass on it, without r changing

and 2) what increases when you add mass to m itself (for this i said period increases…)

Convex mirror, object is place very close to it

what is the image:

virtual and size increased
virtual and size reduced
real and increased
or real and reduced

i said virtual reduced
