May SAT II US History 2012

Any predictions for 7-8 wrong?

@mmatt that’s because this test was the same test as June 2011… Aka last years test

Jvh341- same I have around 7-8 wrong… Maybe 800:(??? Bleh

hey does anyone know the exact question and answer choices for the walt whitman one?
was it asking what he opposed or what he advocated?

^^ Likewise  Let us hope that a raw of 81 or 80 is still an 800…

^The Walt Whitman thing asked two questions: one on his poem and the other on who he was/which era he was likely to represent.

the answer to that one was that they all were anti-communist

was it the ans “reliance on reason”?

for the question about the cattle ranching it was “all of the following contributed to the decline of cattle ranching EXCEPT” bad weather, Homestead Act, barbed wire, decreased demand, and somehting i forgot, right? Im pretty sure i said decreased demand for that one

What was the answer to the import/export graph? Does anyone remember the exact wording?

Results are on the 24th right?

Sent from my HTC PH39100 using CC

question you guys…
ya’ll are all posting answers on college confidential, but aren’t the tests over say the course of a year the same? otherwise how would they be standardized?

just curious… haven’t taken sat subject tests yet, but will in june!

there always different within a year. but year to year, there are repetitions of questions and tests.

scores tomorrow? excited much?

Do you know what time they’re coming out?

5am EST, so 2am for those of us on the West Coast.

Good luck y’all :)

780  happy considering I’m an international and it was my first year of a full US History course!

800 woooooo

WOW. so happy for you guys! congratulations!

anyway, ive been refreshing the college board site for my score for a while now, and when i checked today there was no score available. then i figured it out. on college board it says, “Students who register by mail and who do not have active College Board online accounts will continue to receive paper score reports.” i did not have this account then.

so here’s my question: is there another way to get my scores (other than the phone call method, that seems a wee bit expensive)? if not, how long do i have to wait until the scores get sent to me?

thanks in advance c:

720 arghhh…I got 800s in two other subject tests though, do you guys recommend retaking? =/

730 here, and to the post above, don’t bother retaking. SAT IIs play a very minimal part in college admissions, and a 720 is just fine.
