<p>Your Presidential Scholarship is for 8 semesters. Do you want to “give up” a semester for a summer? </p>
<p>Those who will have the new NMF scholarship will have 10 semesters, so it would be easier to use a semester for a summer.</p>
<p>If this is a general education requirement, perhaps your son could take the classes at his local community college. It would be less expensive. My son, between his freshman and sophomore years, took two, general education classes online through our local community college. By doing them online, he was able to do an internship with our Congressman and work part-time at a local eatery.</p>
