Background: 24-year-old male with a BA in Criminal Justice and Public Policy. I’ve been out of school for two years now and working for 1.5 years for a large transportation company in a customer service based role. In my own time I began trading/investing in stocks about 6 months ago and am having serious thoughts about going back to school for an MBA. What kind of careers are common coming out of school? Am I at a significant disadvantage for not having a finance or business background (work or school related)? I am trying to get a job at an investment firm or bank just to get my foot in the door and am willing to put in a few years of this before going for my MBA. Thoughts on which route to take?
