McCain or Obama CC General Election Vote

first of all..........I love Frank Caliendo haha, but that's beside the point.

And YOU do realize, that while Colbert may poke fun at both sides of our bipartisan country, he is actually conservative, don't you?

The man is a Republican. Pro-life all the way.

Nbachris: I think hookem168 is engaging in satire him/herself. At least for the sake of his/her reputation on this post, I hope so. I guess that's the beauty of an anonymous forum like this, though -- the freedom to be either satirical or a total idiot without ramification.

You're such a card, hookem!

Colbert is a democrat. So I'll have to agree with BedHead about hookem being satirical. Either that or he simply doesn't know what he's talking about (which I find to be the more likely of the two).

McCain 16
Obama 32
Barr (possibly 3)
Other 4
Ron Paul 1 (possibly 1)
Ralph Nader 1

No, I think hookem is being satirical.

Hahahaha I was. Although I do fervently WISH he was republican. "I Am America, and so can you!" is pure gold. There's a section about Dora the Explorer and her monkey being government propaganda promoting bestiality LMAO

Also, he's ten times better than the incredibly stupid Jon Stewart.

but I stand by my criticism of Obama

I like both Colbert and Stewart, but alternate between preferring one over the other. Colbert's schtick sometimes gets on my nerves and I have to stop watching him for awhile. I almost always enjoy Stewart who, for some reason, seems able to get conservative pundits and politicians to come on his show fairly regularly. He and McCain seem to genuinely enjoy sparring with one another. McCain is at his best (in my humble opinion) when he appears on The Daily Show and Saturday Night Live.

That's the truth. Mike Huckabee was also brilliant on the daily show.

Huckabee was funny on SNL, too. Did you see the one where he appeared as a guest in their "Weekend Update" segment?

McCain 16
Obama 33
Barr (possibly 3)
Other 4
Ron Paul 1 (possibly 1)
Ralph Nader 1

My vote goes to Obama. I think Obama is a risk I am willing to take...

McCain 17
Obama 33
Barr (possibly 3)
Other 4
Ron Paul 1 (possibly 1)
Ralph Nader 1

If McCain picks Romney as his VP I'd vote for him.

I really liked Obama, but after the primaries he got all conservative and changed (hey i made a pun!!!! get it...change...ok nvm lol). he's so different now and everything he's saying now I basically disagree with.

Otherwise, I'm going with Nader. Yeah I'm wasting a vote but whatver its not like 1 vote is going to make a difference.

McCain 17
Obama 34
Barr (possibly 3)
Other 4
Ron Paul 1 (possibly 1)
Ralph Nader 1

I'm a moderate so I was thinking McCain until I realized that he was the complete opposite of me on most of the key issues lol. He's too old anyways, so Obama's all I got left.

McCain 17
Obama 35
Barr (possibly 3)
Other 4
Ron Paul 1 (possibly 1)
Ralph Nader 1

McCain = Old, Bush's 3rd term, Inconsistent, Maverick,

Republican.

Hypothetically, if each person only gets one vote, and has the exact same rights as others in the usage of infrastructure, why is it that we don't all pay the exact same amount in taxes? Why is it that each citizen does not pay the same exact fee to support the government that gives them the same exact rights?

Personally, as a strict constructionist, I would like to see Barr elected, and watch him demolish the income tax, the excessive spending on "defense", corporate welfare, etc., and implement a consumption tax. Anyone wealthy enough to buy luxury or non-essential items can tolerate an increase in sales taxes via a national consumption tax on certain non-essentials, and this would draw enough funds to operate a limited and reduced government, with the costs being levied on every consumer, legal citizen or not, with a standard of living above abject poverty.

Try Mike Huckabee on for size, ambiguity :)

His FairTax plan was better than anything Barr can cook up. What a shame....

Yeah, Obama being the picture of moderateness and all

Ron Paul.

Anyone who doesn't vote for Ron Paul, truly doesn't care about this country. He is a near exact replica of our Founding Fathers, yet people disagree with his ideas? So you're saying you wouldn't vote for Thomas Jefferson if he were running today?

Those whom would vote for McCain scare the living **** out of me. The man is a war-crazed psychopath who is dying for America to be thrown into a situation with Iran. He wants to continue to send our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, cousins, etc... into the steaming pile of **** that is Iraq, and for what? What are we fighting for in Iraq? What reason did our government give us for invading Iraq that still stands today? What reason hasn't turned out to be a flat out lie, fed to the American public and United States Congress like candy?

Those whom would vote for Obama have no true understanding of this country, nor do they truly understand his ideals. He is a Socialist folks, wake the hell up. He's also a stone cold liar. Before he became the nominee he vowed to get us out of Iraq as soon as he was elected. Just days ago he went back on this and stated he will now "review" the current strategy and try to update it. So there you go, he told us we were leaving, and now he's telling us we're just going to change up our strategy.

Vote Ron Paul, if you don't, why the **** do you live here? Do you enjoy police states? Socialist policies? Endless wars that serve no purpose?
