I have worked at my parent's restaurant during summer, but I got an opportunity to work at Mcdonalds.

Should I keep working at my parent's restaurant or work at Mcdonalds as a crew member?
I like working at my parent's restaurant but Mcdonald's experience is valuable also.

My question is:
Which job will be more helpful on college admission?

I would imagine opportunities for growth and leadership are present in many family restaurants, but I am not sure if it relates to college admission.

Nothing wrong with flipping burgers at Mickey D’s, but the fact that your parents own the restaurant gives you a lot more opportunities than working at a different place would.

I vote for Mickey D’s. It might be nice to work where you are not the boss’s kid. That provides a whole different dynamic for relating to your coworkers.

Everybody should work at a Masdonalds. This way you’ll learn what a bunch of rude shytes the public is. When you get sent home after two hours on a six hour shift because its not busy, or are told to take lunch one hour into an eight hour shift, you’ll get to see what moneygrubbing bastards the franchise owners and their management lackeys are. Also, you may get to practice your spanish.
