mcgill bursary question

i got an acceptance today and did not apply for a major entrance scholarship. now i'm looking at bursaries but the eligibility requirements are really vague on the website. i'm wondering how much parental income and savings we need to have in order to apply and how much i should ask for if i do apply.

i'm an only child, Canadian citizen living in the US, and my parents make about 90k, but i feel terrible asking them to pay for me and i'll probably have to get a part time job in canada to make ends meet.

With a family income of $90,000 and Canadian tuition less than $8000, getting a bursary from McGill would be unlikely.

So you are a US student with a Canadian citizenship status and you got your acceptance? Congratulations! Can you tell me your stats?

Second what tomofboston said. On the application you are required to disclose your family’s income and 90k/year will not get you any need-based bursaries.

Okay thanks. (I have no idea how to end a thread but pretend I’ve ended it).
