McGill deadline for scores?

Hi all,
So my cousin attends McGill and advised me to apply as early as I can. I don't really know why. Do they do rolling admissions and they won't be letting anyone in who applies later? The deadline is January 15th, can I just apply by then?

I finished and sent my application back in September, my SATs are in also, R 680, M 630, W 700... I took the ACTs last week because I wasn't really looking to do subject tests in Bio or Math, but I feel like I did so badly on ACTs (wasn't prepared, had a headache during) that now I am planning on taking those subject tests in December, just because my SATs are better than my ACTs are going to be.

What do you feel about the fact that my scores won't be sent until late December? Do I still have a fair chance even though it isn't that early? Or do they still view me as "applied" because the application itself is in?

Sorry if I sound like I'm over thinking and worrying too much. McGill is my top school and also a reach so I just don't want to make any avoidable mistakes.
Thank you!!!!!!

I forgot to mention I’m an American student. I don’t know how much this matters.
Thanks

So long as you submit your entire application and scores before the relevant deadline, you won’t be at any disadvantage.
By rolling admission, McGill means the decisions will be released over a period of time rather than a particular date, unlike many US Colleges/univs. The admission evaluation process begins after the deadline. Thus, so long as you submit your app on or before the deadline, you shouldn’t face any problems.

Thank you so greatly, that’s a huge relief to hear!
