So i want to be around a lot of people, definitely co-ed living, single dorm, close to campus, and close to athletic facilities.

I am stuck between Gardner Hall and Royal Victoria College for my number one choice....can anyone give me any pros/cons about the two?

New Rez seems awesome, but what are the chances of getting a single? And does it actually live up to its reputation of being a load of pretentious jerks?

CAN anyone help me out??
Thanks!

RVC - I’ve heard great location, nice atmosphere, good food, can be more quiet than others, co-ed but only in one section so it isn’t like the Upper Rez in that way, I get the sense it is prettier on the inside…but that’s a hunch from a few pictures I saw.
Upper Rez - farther (up a hill), but very social, I haven’t heard bad things besides the food not being the best, I forgot what I read about Gardner, I think the reputation changes each year though.
New Rez- I really did not like this one at all. This is where I stayed overnight when I visited and my friend talked about how it’s harder to make friends, it has a bad reputation for having snobby people, but it is connected to an underground shopping center (with like groceries, I forget what else) and the beds are big, the rooms have their own bathrooms, but you only get singles if you are a scholarship winner usually or have good luck.

thanks a lot that helps!
well even if your at Upper Rez can’t you eat at RVC too? meal plans extend to all residents i think.

yeah New Rex seems so nice like luxurious, yet I just don’t know about the people. How come you don’t think its easy to make friends?
