maybe we'd find out early. cause of other internationals, it says Feb 7 but buggzz and company found out a week sooner.

thats sorta not fair, america is international to canada, in a big brother in the room in the basement, i would like to have heard by now instead of waiting i think 40 days
god its like lent, if i new what sort of analogy i was making

did we ever decide if we have to send in midyear reports?

yeah, theyre requesting/demanding i send them, well concordia is demanding, mcgill is more politely updating on the website witout informing me, which is alright

Send them anyway...better safe than sorry.

since theyve already announced my decision, i was wondering if i should send the mid year reports ..!!
confused

and how about trimestered schools? 2nd trim grades aren't out until april 1st- does that mean they don't make a decision 'til then? surely not! -because of all y'all that were already accepted- i'm thinking that without a complete file there's still hope- so you really don't need to wait for "ready to review"- theoretically

I really don't think it's that big of a deal. basically unless something really weird happens, you're in. So relax and have fun, but don't slack off too much ;)

weather continues beautiful lately. it's awesome. if only it would hold....haha

so some people still in shorts then?

hey, I went outside all day these last few days without either long underwear or a jacket. ;)

ah lucky u:p
how bad is the summer in montreaL?

i got here in august, end of august, and it was pretty nice. Though I haven't been here in like July.

hmm, this is on an entirely side note, i have no idea where else to turn, what is carding like, more specifically the casino, im 17, 18 in may, but im going up to montreal in april. i have my id chalked, but i don know if that will stand up. i could buy a better one, but id rather just not and try my luck, pun intended, sorry. i know for bars and stuff, but not for casino's, danke in advance.

Im an intl and applied to Mcgill.. I logged into my accnt 2day and the status was somrhin like "Requires Further Review". Should I expect a rejection or is McGill waiting to review all the intl app? < btw- i asked for a major scholarship>.

ian: ID'ing is pretty lax around here. Many clubs won't check, especially if you're with a group of people. I'm not sure about the casino, though. If you have a friend whos 18 or something, as long as it even remotely resembles you, then they won't question you if you use one of their IDs. During frosh clubbing here there as a ton of ID trading.

And if you go to a pub they will never ID.

rm1987: My guess is that the scholarship is what's holding things up...however they may want to compare your app to others. I'm really not sure, but I'd wager to say it's the scholarship

noelle

Yo I sent in all my stuff to Mcgill and minerva said "ready for review" but now it says i basically need to send in my first smester scores for my senior year. So does that mean I am like borderline and they basicaly want more info. My guidance counselor jsut sent out my first smeseter scores and they came out to a 3.7. SO does that mean i got a good shot.

please respond when possible

where are you applying from? I think in the United States, they most often request applicants to send first semester scores. it's hard to know if you're borderline or not without knowing other things, like overall GPA and SATs. Is the 3.7 weighted or unweighted, as well?

BTW, Mcgill requested that I send my midyear grades, and I got in :)

IT is unweighted, I am generaly pretty borderline with a 1270 on the Sat. I have an over all 92 secular average in highschool and kept it up for first semseter of senior (which they asked me to end and I jsut did). Please respond HArpgirl
