MCgraw Hill English Accuracy

Hey Guys,
I just bought the Mcgraw Hill book today to go along with my Real Act.
I just took the 1st Practice Test and scored a 33 on it.
Now for owners of the book, when it says to subtract 2 at the end of the score should i still do that even though it says the subtraction of 2 usually effects the scores from 16-24?

And lastly,
How would you say these tests compare to the real Act

Bump 10 char.

I had the same question in a previous thread.

My friend and I have concluded that most of those grading curves for that book is not accurate when you are reaching high scores. I personally just use the curve I have from my REAL ACT BOOK, because it seems like the difficulty is pretty similar so the that curve would be more realistic.

It just didn't make sense to me that i got a 34 on English when i missed 0 questions, lol. Its a pretty good book in general

Alright thanks alot.
So you would say that the tests in both books are very similar and that i should just use the curve from the real act book?

Anyone else have an opinion?

O and also,
I find it a little strange that in the Mcgraw book i got 7 wrong on english and got a 32.64 while 7 wrong in the real act rtanslates to a 29?

I think 7 wrong being a 29 is accurate. It doesn't make sense that missing 7 would give you a 33. I think for the English section that each point missed is a minus point on your english score for around 30-36. When it gets to 29 and lower it might be 2 missed questions per point. It usually has some variation, but it is usually close to this.
