McGraw-Hill's 10 ACT Practice Tests Book

Okay, I have this book, and I have taken four of the tests out of it already. I took thest tests early in the morning (5:00 am), on days when I went to sleep at about midnight. I really do not operate well under these conditions, but I have scored between 30 and 32 on each test in this book. However, this book seems too easy to me. I also took the official practice ACT provided free in the guidance office, and I scored a 31 on that under these same conditions.

My main concern is that I will actually score much lower on test day in a week and two days. I will obviously do much more practice, but I am still concerned, especially since my other guide is a Kaplan guide. The last time I took the ACT, I was a sophomore with no Trig knowledge, and I scored a 30. I was hoping to get a 32, so what can I do to make that happen, CC world?

Please help!

I advice you not use the McGrawhill’s 10 practice tests. Its tests are nothing like the real test. When I did those, I was convinced that the real test would be a piece of cake. But I ended up with a terrible score (27). I’m now using the Red Book and just going over some strategies from Prince Review.

Good Luck buddy

Okay, thanks. That’s what I suspected. When I went over to the bookstore, they did not haave the red book, so I thought that this would be sufficient, but I didn’t realize that the tests were way too easy. With only a week left, I can’t really change my course of study, but it is nice to know how well I really will be prepared for the test.

Thanks again for the info.
