<p>Anyone heard about Meadows Scholars scholarships yet? Does anyone know if receiving other scholarships (Provost) affects your chances for Meadows in addition? Anyone know what percent of Meadows are given for visual arts?</p>
<p>I read where they are meeting now and some will be given mid March while most will be given out in April.</p>
<p>My son is a Meadows Scholar. He stacked his Meadows scholarship on top of all of his other scholarships without any problem. I don’t know if they’re still doing it that way, but I would think they are.</p>

<p>Message just came today for me! It says 15-20 people get it across all 10 divisions of the meadows school so I don’t know how many visual arts that would be.</p>
<p>My daughter just got her notice and the letter said it could be stacked except with the President Scholar which supersedes it.</p>

<p>I got mine in today. What is the Sewell Meadows Scholarship? I applied for advertising. I know that Meadows Art Scholars in adv can skip the application process. I’m assuming that the Sewell Meadows Art Scholarship is the same because it’s a meadows are scholarship?</p>

<p>So it still means that I’m considered a Pre-Major?</p>
<p>Everyone is a pre-major for what they want to do - even BBA Scholars that are preadmitted to Cox are pre-majors - so I’m sure you are, too. I think you have to go through the same stuff to get into the advertising department as everyone else… but you have a scholarship.</p>
<p>My D and I have been watching the mail for weeks hoping for a Meadows scholarship. Is any of you who received one from the School of Dance? I’m beyond nervous hearing that several of you have already received notice. Did all letters say only 15 were chosen??</p>
<p>D finally rec’d Dance scholarship in mail on Saturday. Actually rec’d 3 SMU letters - one just another welcome letter, one was inviting her to join the new NCSP or NSCP scholarship program (but no $ with this program) and FINALLY…one with a bright pink circle sticker announcing Meadows Scholarship. D also rec’d a very nice call from prev Dance Chair, Myra, to sell D on attending SMU School of Dance.</p>

<p>Son just received letters from SMU and one was for a Meadows Scholarship that can be added to his Provost Scholarship. We are very happy, but are confused if this is the same as “Meadows Scholars Scholarships” that are on their website? Anyone know?</p>
