<p>I have Presidential Scholarship (full-tuition) and Campus Community Scholarship (room and board), but I haven't received a financial aid package yet. Not that I'm expecting more, of course :-P However, if I do extremely well on my IB exams, I can get $4,000 more. Ah, I love SMU scholarships...</p>
<p>Wow, you should love SMU! My d has been offered7500/yr.academic and 2000/yr artistic.</p>
<p>S was offered 7500/yr from regular academic scholarship and then 7500/yr from the school of engineering. It was very tempting as my S really like SMU and everything he saw during his campus and classroom visit. Alas, he's been offered almost double the scholarship at another school that also ended up his top choice so he will be turning down SMU.</p>
<p>Congratulations, sendtherain. Being a President's Scholar at SMU is a lot of fun if you choose to go there. I was one from 2000 to 2004.</p>

<p>i finally got my financial aid stuff last week (im a transfer so it takes awhile). all i got were loans. i have tuition covered so all i have to get loans for is room and board.</p>
