are they a different thing? Are they both on the student's ID card and how are they differentiated?

i know that the flex points are $345 dollars that can be used to buy food in lafortune and other places, where as the domed dollars are like a debit card that you put money on and can be used for a wider variety of purchases, like doing laundry. i’m not sure if they are on the id card though, my guess is that they would be

Flex points work for on-campus dining services: Reckers, the Huddle, Starbucks, Cafes, Sbarro…

Domer Dollars work for all of the above and more: laundry, vending machines, bookstore…

Both are on your ID card. Your flex points will expire at the end of the school year, but domer dollars will rollover year to year.

To clarify, Flex Points are part of your meal plan, while Domer Dollars are more like a debit account - you deposit your own money into an account which you then use to access certain services. You can use Domer Dollars anywhere you can use Flex Points, but you cannot use Flex Points anywhere you can use Domer Dollars.

What if you use up all of your 14 meals for the week but decide you want to eat in a dining hall for a meal? Do they deduct a charge from your Flex Points or Domer Dollars?

Either. Although I don’t recommend it, as a meal in the dining hall costs 11 dollars, as I recall.
