<p>If you choose the 5-Day Meal Plan, how would you eat on the weekends. Is there some other alternative such as working for it or something? Also, is the payment for the housing listed on the application monthly, quarterly, or annually?</p>
<p>if you get a 5 day meal plan you have to feed yourself on saturday and sunday, simple as that</p>
<p>You could always do what the other 5 day people do- Steal extra for the weekends! Alternatively, you could stock up on Top Ramen and eat that on Saturdays/Sundays if you feel guilty about taking extra food for later.</p>
<p>I’m can’t confirm this but I heard people can only take small amounts of food outside the cafe / dining room so that may not work out. I opted for a 5-day plan to so I’m facing the same problem and I freeload quite often.</p>

<p>You can’t take any food out. Only one piece of fruit or one dessert. That’s it. And you will get some overly zealous student workers who will scold you for a cookie that’s been broken in half as being two desserts rather the one it began as. Those were in no way fun to mess with ;)</p>
<p>There is a to go option you can do with the eco club box. $10 to join, one to go meal a day allowed, Monday to Friday, and has to be before 6pm. This is the only allowed way to take food out is to take a meal to go. You’re given 10 minutes to fill your box and if you go over this, they are within their rights to deduct a meal (if you’re on a 55 plan) or deduct a guest meal (if you’re on a day plan).</p>
<p>I was on both 7day and 5day. I rarely went to the dining hall on the weekends so it was easy to drop to a 5day to feed myself. Just keep snacks and such around. Porter Slug Cafe is open on the weekends as well and you can use flexis there (you’re required to get at least $50 worth with each meal plan each quarter). Joe’s Pizza in quarry plaza is open on saturdays, but not sundays. You can also go off campus to find something.</p>
