Meal Plans

They have hot meals at the Pit (some sort of sandwchih with bacon, ham, or sausage on croissant or english muffin.) and at Danfourth they have a limited buffet like any other meal.

Both places provide cereal and milk.

At the pit however a club only gets you a Sandwhich, some side (fruit, veggie cup, or a potato thingy), and a drink.

So I can get that stuff with declining? I guess I'll just do the 230 then.

Yeah, declining is like cash, but you can only use it at dining (and some stores [on campus]) on campus.

Alright sorry if I sound retarded. Exactly how does a club meal work?

of course, i should let dltprm answer this, but whatever. as far as i understand it, u have ur student id card which u present after a meal.. and they charge you for it. this works for the major dining halls. an important caveat is that sometimes only a certain combination of items. for example, a club meal might get you a sandwich, side and drink in one place, or, (and i was really surprised by this), a tiramisu in another place, with no drink.

Chemaddict17 pretty much got it right.

It's a "meal" with parameters depending on location.

At the Pit, it's an entree (Burger, Pizza, 6 inch sub, chicken product), Side (fries, onion rings, chips, soup, salad, potato salad cup, macaroni cheese cup) and a drink (any milk product, bottled product, or fountain drink) In the morning you can club a cup of cereal and milk, but after 11am you have to decline for cereal.

At douglass, it's pretty much the same thing. and at Sue B for Danfourth, a club gets you a buffet.

At the coffee places (Common ground and hillside) a club can get you a smoothie and some desert product (slice of cheese cake, tiramisu, muffin, chocoalte bar...etc.) or some other drink. I'm pretty sure you can club cheesecake, since you can get a pie for 10 clubs.

Oh that's another thing, since the coffee places have students working, they know your plight and sometimes you can club more or less things depending on who works there. Also you can club whole pizzas, whole cheesecakes, batches of tiramisu if you have enough clubs to do so. But they might be changing that policy. Ya never know...dining services seems to fluctuate year to year on what you can and cannot club.
