Meal Plans

What is the difference between the basic or deluxe meal plan other than the price?

Nothing, just more meals. Just choose the middle or lower ones, I will 100% guarantee you will not use all your meal swipes. Ever.

I have a question: Does it sound stupid if I chose a meal plan that allows me only 14 meals a week (2 meals/day)??? Someone told me that after a while, students get sick and tired of the food. I don't eat that much either; only lunch and dinner.

^Not at all. I usually average 2 meals a day at the dining hall. Plus on the weekends there is no takeout, and the food sucks so most weekends you'll be eating sparingly at the dining hall.

is the food at rutgers THAT bad?
i dont want my 1000 dollars to go wasted..

if its bad, how BAD is it ?
I mean most of the colleges ive visted before had decent food..
at least better than highschool cafeteria.

College food sucks. Fact of life.
It's eatable, and not bad enough to warrant skipping a meal though.

First of all I'm referring to weekend food. It mostly sucks. Also which dining hall you eat at effects the quality. Douglass has great food, Busch has good food, Brower (College Ave) has mediocre food, Livingston (Tillet) has bad food. However Tillet has great takeout. Generally speaking though its much, much better than high school food and there is about five times the amount of options, remember all the dining halls are buffet style with many options. I'm just saying that you will almost never use the amount of meal swipes if you choose one of the larger meal plans.

Do Not Ever Get The Higher Meal Plans. Get The Smallest Meal Plan Possible Because You Will Never Finish It. I Had About 20-30 Meals Left Over. This Semester, I Will Have About 10-20 Meals Left Over.
